Proto J3826 Flare Nut Wrench Features

Flare nut wrenches have a gear mechanism on the single end head that allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the wrench.
The ratcheting wrench head allows a line or other obstruction to pass through it, then closes for full contact around the fastener.
The opposite end of the handle provides a more secure grip on the full length of the handle than a double end flare nut wrench.
The 12-pt. design has additional grooves that make it easier to connect with the head of the fastener and connect at more angles for better accessibility compared to a 6-pt. wrench.
These single-end wrenches come in SAE (inch) sizes.
