The Makita PDC01 Portable Backpack Battery Adapter is powered by up to four 18V LXT batteries, which help to increase the running time while keeping the cost low. The Battery Adaptor comes with a main power switch that has an auto-off function, and a fuel gauge for each battery that indicates the battery status by displaying two green lamps. This Portable Backpack Battery Adapter is designed to be used with various tools, making it easier to maneuver while connected to a tool. Additionally, the waist belt is height-adjustable, allowing you to adjust the position of the belt for a more comfortable fit. The battery cover also protects the batteries inside the battery box from dust and water.

The harness can also be detached from the battery box to be used as a stationary power pack.
Adaptors transfer the power from the main unit to the tool body, without the weight of the batteries.
Provides the ability to be used on both 18V and 18Vx2 tools.
