Purification Stages Inside the AquaTower Plant: Stage 1: PP The PP filter is made of fine polypropylene fibers with 5-micron pores. It is one of the best types of filters that trap rust, dust, sand, and suspended impurities in the water and acts as a primary purification stage in the desalination unit. Stage 2: UDF The UDF filter is an activated carbon filter made from fine carbon granules capable of removing color, taste, and odor, ensuring chlorine-free water. This stage effectively increases the surface area of the carbon, which has a high capacity to absorb impurities. Stage 3: CTO The CTO filter is a solid carbon filter responsible for removing chlorine, taste, and odor from the water.
